WHO WE ARE...
We are the Brick Children’s School. We’re a community project supporting migrant families working in the brick fields of the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. Working with our partners in Nepal at Kopila Nepal, we provide education and healthcare for child labourers and literacy and skills training for adults.
OUR MISSION...
Our mission is to give our pupils respite from work and a quality basic education in a safe, happy environment. We want to help each child achieve their potential and give them the opportunity just to be kids.

Award for long serving Trustees of the BCS
AVOW (Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham) annually awards individuals and organisations in the Wrexham County Borough Council area certificates to recognise the voluntary efforts made by residents in the area in volunteering and offering of services to the local community.
Phil Miller (BCS Chair) nominated Janet and Edgar Lewis for the award for their volunteering efforts, over many ears, on behalf of the BCS. The award was made at the 2022 AGM of the association at the Glanrafon Conference Hall at Coleg Ial in a ceremony addressed by the First Minister of Wales, Mark Drakeford MS, who also presented the awards.
Well done Janet and Edgar and thank you for your support of the BCS from the start of the charity until your recent retirement from 'front--line' involvement

FINAL CONCERT
On 16 September Luke Jones gave a concert to BCS supporters at Capel y Groes. Luke has been a strong supporter of the charity for many years and we thank him for his interest and wish him well for his future career.
